What are the differences between the various product series of Quark polysiloxane resins, and what are their intended applications?
SH-113 is a kind of siloxane polymer, applied to formulate high-temperature resistant coatings.
SH-109 is a kind of siloxane polymer, applied to formulate protective clear topcoat with excellent stain resistance, easy cleaning and anti-graffiti property.
SH-216 is a kind of epoxy siloxane hybrids resin, used for the formulation of heavy-duty corrosion resistance coatings with longlasting protection.
SH-217 is a kind of epoxy siloxane hybrids resin, applied to formulate Direct-to-Metal(DTM) coatings and conventional anti-corrosion protective coatings.
SH-3 series are belong to acrylic siloxane hybrids resin, applied to formulate conventional anti-corrosion protective coatings.
SH-20 Series: Amino-functional siloxane curing agents, for use with compatible resins.
Should I choose SH-216 or SH-306 for anti-corrosion protective topcoat with excellent weatherability?
Generally speaking, the coatings’ silicone oxygen bond formulated by SH-216 is much higher, which exhibits better weatherability, corrosion resistance. While SH-306 is a cost effective option, which could meet the most requirement of anti-corrosion protection. SH-216 will be the ideal choice if you purpose perfect performance and extremely long service life and could bear higher cost. However, we suggest SH-306 for conventional topcoat with competitive price.
